Registration

Registration for the unofficial events at the Rubik's WCA European Championship 2026 will be very easy: just show up! Once you are in the venue (as competitor or spectator) and you want to participate go to Hall 4. In here you will find the unofficial stage.

Please note the following!

1. You must bring your own puzzles AND A JUDGE. We will handle the scrambling, scoretaking and can of course answer any questions.
2. You can compete once a solving station becomes available. Fill out a scorecard with your WCA ID and event of choice before competing. If you are competing in 3x3x3 Team-Blind, you also need to write your teammate’s WCA ID.
3. One exception! To participate in 3x3x3 Cube Mile, you do need to register. You can do so through this form! Registration for 3x3x3 Cube Mile will close when we reach 150 registrations. Update: if the form is closed, then registration is already full. Spots will become available if anyone cancels.
4. The 3x3x3 event on Cubing Contests is unofficial and is available only to those who are not registered to compete in the WCA competition! The main 3x3x3 event is held through the WCA website.
5. Your judge must deposit and collect your puzzle at the scrambling table after every solve. Please keep an eye on the time limits and cutoffs for each event.

Obviously at times the unofficial stage can get busy. If you do not like waiting in line you are free to return another time.

The unofficial events stage will be closed during lunch breaks and evening finals.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Are the scrambles the same for everyone?

A: Sadly not. It would not be possible to maintain scramble secrecy for the entire competition otherwise.

Q: Can I compete if I am not registered for Euros?

A: Yes, you can compete in any of the available events.

Q: Can I compete if I do not have a WCA ID?

A: Yes! Please write your full name and nationality on the scorecard instead.

Q: Can my teammate judge our 3x3x3 Team-Blind solve?

A: No. You will need a third person to judge any of your team-blind solves.

Q: Do you have a puzzle I can borrow?

A: No. Please bring your own puzzles to compete with, or borrow a friend’s. We will only supply oven mitts.

Q: Are you open during lunch?

A: No, but you can try to bribe our volunteers by bringing them snacks!
